For fatigue analysis and policy development, IBR utilizes proprietary software driven by Dr. Hursh’s SAFTE™ model, including the original Fatigue Avoidance Scheduling Tool (FAST®) for focused individual analyses and the recently developed FAST Aviation for large-scale “batch” processing.  Both FAST and FAST Aviation are available commercially under customized licensing agreements.  For more information on FAST, FAST Aviation, or other software-based applications of the SAFTE model, please contact IBR’s Chief Operating Officer Reid Blank.

For studies of small-group behavior and team performance, IBR’s Applied Behavioral Biology Unit (ABB) utilizes the Planetary Exploration Simulation (PES) program and prototype Team Performance Task (TPT) software.  For more information on either of these software tools or to discuss using them in collaboration with IBR, please contact IBR’s Chief Operating Officer Reid Blank.

IBR’s recent behavioral economics efforts have been greatly facilitated by the in-house development of an analysis and graphing template custom-designed for the Exponential Model of Demand in GraphPad Prism.  The template is available for free download (GraphPad software sold separately).  For more information on FAST, FAST Aviation, or other software-based applications of the SAFTE model, please visit www.saftefast.com or contact IBR’s Chief Operating Officer Reid Blank.
